Author Biography

• Pilar Mogollón Cano-Cortés, University of Extremadura

  Professor of History of Art at the University of Extremadura, she has been a tenured lecturer at UEx since 1988. She has been Director of the Department of History of Art (2000-2004) and Vice-Rector of University Extension (2004-2010). Specialised in Medieval and Modern Art, she is working on the cultural relations between Islam and Western Christian art and on the application of new technologies for the restoration of artistic heritage. She is the Principal Researcher of the Research Group "Conservation of Historical and Artistic Heritage Unit".
