Resumen

Las carreteras constituyen un elemento esencial en la construcción y morfología de los paisajes. A partir de la exposición de algunas de las principales claves en la evolución de estas infraestructuras desde mediados del siglo XVIII y de la experiencia adquirida en investigaciones previas, el presente artículo tiene por objeto facilitar la lectura de los paisajes configurados por las carreteras en los dos últimos siglos, localizando tramos de corredores históricos de transporte donde trazados viarios de distintos periodos. El desensamblado de los paisajes que han generado estas carreteras ha permitido identificar las transformaciones en la construcción de tales infraestructuras, las actividades que los distintos trazados han propiciado y los cambios sucedidos en las formas de movilidad.

Doctora, con mención internacional, en el programa de territorio, infraestructuras y medio ambiente (Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha, 2014), CPD en el Máster “Conservation of Historic Gardens and Cultural Landscapes” (Universidad de Bath, 2010) e Ingeniera de caminos, canales y puertos (Universidad de Casilla-La Mancha, 2007). Trabaja como Profesora Ayudante Doctor en el Departamento de Urbanística y Ordenación del Territorio de la Escuela de Ingenieros de Caminos, Canales y Puertos de la Universidad de Castilla-La
