Sempere in Paris rediscovers an essential creative period in the figure of the artist from Alicante, whose Parisian work establishes the argumentative link with his period of maturity. This work traces a journey through the work of the artist from his decisive stay in Paris, during which he became acquainted with the legacy of the great masters of the avant-garde, found his own artistic language and established the lithographic process as one of the essential techniques of the rest of his career. His contact with the core of the French art system, his work and the twelve years he spent in the French capital are essential to understanding the totality of his oeuvre beyond any reductionist or biased interpretation.
